And I think you are probably right with your mailing list/sales percentage.

For me, I think the trick is quality rather than quantity when it comes to list building.

My list is by no means huge, but it converts well because I concentrate on providing good content via this blog, and I only promote products that are good, and relevant to the subject that the person initially signed up for.

Although saying that, on my most profitable site; I don’t actually collect opt-in’s and all traffic is organic from Google. So whilst the list can bring in a quick surge of sales, I wouldn’t say it’s an absolute must for long term success. It certainly helps, but it is very much possible to make money online without building a mailing list.

Congratulations on your #3 spot.

I would be willing to guess that 99% of your affiliate sales came as a result of your list.

If someone has a list, and knows how to use it, I’m sure they could do well.

But, how well would you have done without a list?

You always hear the money is in the list, I guess you just proved it.

So perhaps you can help us learn how to build a profitable list.

@ William, unfortunately there’s only so many things you can do in a day

The actual course has a lot more than 3 methods, the 3 methods are what I’M using, I haven’t counted but the course looks at roughly 25 - 30 different methods.
